Bad news is coming from the music world. Famous singer Prabha Atre took her last breath this morning on 13th January 2024. Prabha died at the age of 92. She died due to a Heart Attack. She was rushed to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune after Heart Attack, but she died before reaching the Hospital. She had a program in Mumbai. Before she could participate in the program, She suffered a Heart Attack and she died.
Prabha Atre was born on 13 September 1932 in Pune. When Prabha was 8 years old, her mother Indrabai Atre’s health began to deteriorate. Then a friend of her advised her to listen to classical music saying that it would improve her health. After this she started listening to classical music. Since then Prabha was fond of music since childhood. She was awarded Padma Shri in 1990, Padma Bhushan in 2002 and Padma Vibhushan in 2022.
