Why Did the Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha Send a Legal Notice to the Director of Adipurush?

Since its debut, the Adipurush movie has been the target of trolls and criticism. Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, is set to run into legal issues, which is bad news for the producers. Suresh Mishra, the president of the Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha, has requested an immediate ban on the film.

According to him, there has been a plot to discredit Lord Hanuman and other gods. He also criticised the film’s weak use of computer graphics and visual effects for the main characters. He even said that the dialogue in the film is offensive and without foundation.

He has pleaded with both Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately outlaw the film. Mishra urged people to avoid the movie in general. Additionally, a judicial appeal has been submitted in relation to this.

The dialogues of the film Adipurush will be rewritten, the script’s writer Manoj Muntashir recently said. Mishra responded, “Changing the dialogues will not halt our protest. The movie ought to be outlawed right away. Ramayana misrepresentation is intolerable.

He added, “The movie sends a message to society that is highly conflicting. The mind is affected by films. Because of this, more care should be taken to ensure that films don’t interfere with religion or culture. The film’s mythological characters have poor acting and unimpressive appearances. The characters of Lord Rama, Hanuman, Sita, and Ravan are incorrectly portrayed in the movie. The movie is a slur on the Ramayana. It is comparable to messing with the millions of Hindus’ beliefs.

He continued, saying “Gods and goddesses have been depicted in the film in a fictional fashion, which is utterly unacceptable. This will not be accepted. Om Raut, the director of the movie, had received a notification from the Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha through the attorney Kamlesh Sharma a year prior. Raut had previously stated that the movie wouldn’t depict any wrongdoing. But now we can clearly see that the movie makes fun of every Ramayana character.
